Use the form on the right to ask a question or send me a message.  No question is a bad question, so please feel free to ask!

While I do most of my client training in person, we don't actually have to be in the same room for me to help you.  Please note that I am quite happy to help you remotely as well via phone, FaceTime or Skype and/or the use of a remote App called Team Viewer.

Let's start at the beginning; Send me a message and we'll figure it out!

Teaching YOU how to get the most out of your iPad, iPhone, Apple Computer and Apple TV while helping to reveal and explain the mysteries of iCloud, iTunes, iPhoto and other Apple Software!  Learning is just the beginning.

How does it work?

Having trouble figuring out how to use your new iPhone?

Not sure how to optimize your iPad settings?

Wondering "What the heck is iCloud (and why would I use it!)"?

Have no idea how to REALLY use your Apple Computer?

Relax!  I can help.  It's what I do!

Whether it's in your home, your place of business or in a local WiFi equipped coffee shop - I'll help you to shop for and/or set up, and learn more about your Apple Technology.  Whether it's learning more about how to use your device (like an iPad or iPhone) or making sure that all of your devices are syncing with each other as well as with your computer, we can figure it out together.

For a very reasonable hourly rate, we can meet once or have an ongoing training relationship.  If you're Florida bound, don't worry, you can still benefit from training by arrangement - it's up to you!

To find out more about how I can help you and my rates, please send me a message (link above) or feel free to call or text Sandy at (905) 330-3073

iTeachumac currently enjoys working with clients in Burlington, Oakville, Waterdown, Hamilton, Dundas and Grimsby.  We also have remote relationships with "snowbirds" in Arizona, Alabama, The Gulf Coast, Florida, Mexico, Venezuela and residents of the UK!

Services we provide include:

Ongoing Training - whether it is weekly, monthly or as the need arises, iTeachumac can help you to solve problems, avoid frustrations, learn new tricks and ensure that your settings and preferences are personalized to your usage.

iCloud Overview - this session will explain and ensure that your computer and device/s are correctly using iCloud and that you are aware of and benefitting from all of the features available to you via this free built-in feature!  Syncing data between all of your devices, benefitting from and understanding the convenience of Photostream when you have multiple devices, ensuring that "Find my iPhone" is set up and working correctly and that your iPad/iPhone or iPod Touch are backing up to iCloud so that you will never lose anything!  (Note that iCloud is free but when you have multiple devices or a lot of information on them, it makes sense to pay the monthly fee for additional iCloud storage space - the inexpensive plans start at $0.99/month depending on your needs and we can assess together whether upgrading your plan makes sense).

iPhone and iPad Training - for individuals and groups - learn the "how's and why's "while understanding more about the "do's and don'ts".

Personal Shopping Service - if you just can't decide what you need, we will accompany you to the Apple Store or Creative Technology to shop for, discuss and purchase your new Apple product.  The other side of the coin is "shopping for you".  I have a close relationship with the staff at Creative Technology, Burlington's Apple Specialist and Apple Service Provider.  If you need a new product purchased, picked up and delivered to you or you're unable to get out of the house but need your computer serviced, I am happy to facilitate this for you

Personal Setup - helping you to open up and setup your new computer or device, ensure that it is "talking" to your other devices and providing you with tips and tricks on how to proceed.

Installation and Setup - of items like Apple's Airport Express or Airport Extreme Routers, the Apple Time Capsule Router/Backup Solution that works with Time Machine and the amazing and fantabulous Apple TV.

PreTravel 411 for iPad and iPhone - BEFORE you go off on that three week Alaskan cruise, hike through Nepal, move to Florida for 4 months or contemplate crossing the border on a road trip with your iOS devices, consider contacting me for some tips and tricks!  We can have an hour and a half session where we will ensure that you understand how to get the very most out of your iPhone or iPad when traveling.  Depending on the nature of your travel, we will make sure that location services are turned on, that you have downloaded apps that will help with navigation and exploration, have a refresher on how to take the very best photos and various free methods of sharing them quickly with friends and family, explain the process of unlocking your device (if needed), how to install a SIM card, how to connect to and make the most of free wifi, when to use "airplane mode", how to maximize and extend the use of your battery, what to do if your device freezes or stops working and most importantly - ensure that your device will be automatically backing up while you are traveling, that it is password protected and that it will be trackable via iCloud if you happen to lose it.  Lots to know!

Group Training and Presentations - whether you'd like to learn more about your iPad surrounded by friends or you have a group that would benefit from knowing more about "the possibilities" ... group training and speaking engagements are easily arranged.

"Remote" Training and Troubleshooting - You want to learn more but there is a snowstorm, you've run in to a problem but you don't want to come out to meet nor have someone visit you - Remote training is a great way to have your questions answered without leaving the house. You're in charge of how much or how little time we spend together and with your password authorization, we will remotely visit your computer and demonstrate new techniques or help you to solve a problem.  Most issues can be dealt with this way (by phone, FaceTime or Skype) and it can be a great alternative to face-to-face learning.

Gift Certificates - available in any amount or for a specific service, iTeachumac Gift Certificates are a great gift idea to help the technophobic newbie in your life but they're just as useful for that person who "wants to know more" or to help Grandma get started with Texting and Facebook to keep in touch with the Grandchildren(!).

While I occasionally employ the talents of other enthused associates, it is usually me that you will be working with and learning from. - Sandy Hall, iTeachumac
