It's been an exciting week - I've officially launched my business ideas. Met with my accountant/bookkeeper, purchased my domain name (finally!) and started issuing invoices. Now to communicating my ideas with the creation of my long planned webpage.
I've done the research and am combining all the advice that I've given others over the years regarding what software to use when creating a webpage, how to purchase a domain, what you might need and how to put it all together.
Having said that - sitting down to create my own webpage for a very specific purpose (providing a landing site for and connecting with new and existing customers, letting people know what I do, providing links to interesting Apple "stuff" and education, tips and tricks, a method for signing up for my newsletter/notification system and providing a password protected link to existing customers for downloadable documents) is easier said than done. I am spoiled by choice and my mind is racing!I know I'll get it done but it is definitely not the afternoon project that I had originally envisioned!
To top it all off - I want to create a Twitter and Facebook Page (of course!) and provide links to all of this via my personal page .... but which comes first ...
Oh decision making - here I am procrastinating again as I craft this first blog entry ... must go and DO IT!
